किसानों की समृद्धि - हमारा उद्देश्य

We are running an FPO duly supported by ISAP and NABARD which was established in the year 2016 and started with formation of small groups of about 20-25 farmers in one group as share holders in about 15 villages in Karnal district with a strength of 530 farmers, The main emphasis has been given on chemical free cultivation of cereals/Pulses/ Millets/vegetables/Honey in our farmers groups after getting soil tested and avoiding use of chemical fertilizers and chemical sprays for the control of pest and diseases (CHEMICAL FREE ). These farmers are improving their soil health by growing Dhaincha, Moong for Green Manuring and leaving their land fallow and deep cultivation and conservation of residue management in situ by using Waste Decomposer for quick decomposition of residues in soil and best for soil health.

After the set up PRODUCE Fund by GoI for promotion of Farmers Producer Organisation (FPO), the NABARD DDM created awareness for mobilization of farmers for providing the economies of scale, value addition of produce so as to increase the income of farmers. To facilitate the formation of FPO, ISAP was identified as Producer Organization Promoting Institution agency ( POPI) for the purpose. The discussion and meetings held with farmers in many villages viz. Sangohi, Churni, Kamalpur Rodan, Ramba, Nagla Chowk, etc. wherein DDM facilitated for mobilization and formulation of FPO with the involvement of farmers trained under AC & ABC programme of MANAGE. The FPO was registered on 25 February 2016 with the name of Horticulture Producer Co. Ltd. having its Registration No. (U01403HR2015PTC058380) office at Jat Bhawan, Karnal - 132001.
